1. Overview

This website is operated by JJCK. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to JJCK. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Accuracy & Natural Variations

Pearls: As stated throughout our site, we use genuine, organic pearls. You acknowledge that no two pearls are identical and that natural "birthmarks," ridges, and pits are characteristics of authenticity, not defects.

Photography: We make every effort to display the colours and images of our products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

3. Pricing & Payments

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST (where applicable).

We reserve the right to change prices without notice.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect unauthorized or illegal activity.

4. Pre-Orders & Production Timelines

As a small, family-owned business, we are committed to sustainable and thoughtful production. To minimize waste and keep our handcrafted jewellery accessible, many of our finished products are available via Pre-Order.

Lead Times: Pre-ordered items typically have a production waiting period of 3 to 5 weeks before they are dispatched.

Why the wait? This timeframe allows us to hand-select and set each pearl specifically for your order, ensuring the highest quality while maintaining our commitment to small-batch craftsmanship.

Combined Orders: If your order contains both "In-Stock" and "Pre-Order" items, the entire order will be shipped together once the pre-order item is ready.

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and agree to this waiting period. We will keep you updated via email as your piece moves through our studio.

5. Shipping & Risk

Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you (the customer) upon dispatch. We use Australia Post with tracking and signature on delivery for your security.

Any delivery times provided are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier or customs.

6. Custom Orders

All custom-made items are governed by our Custom Order Agreement.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin work.

Custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned for "change of mind."

7. Australian Consumer Law (Refunds & Repairs)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This does not apply to damage caused by "wear and tear," accidents, or failure to follow our Pearl Care Guide (e.g., wearing pearls in a swimming pool).

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including jewellery designs, photography, and text, is the property of JJCK and is protected by Australian copyright laws. You may not reproduce or use our designs without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, JJCK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
